Breakfast Sausage in Air Fryer


  Cooking breakfast sausage in air fryer is super easy and will get breakfast on the table in no time! Air fryer breakfast sausage links are super juicy on the inside and caramelized perfectly on the outside. Frozen, fresh or reheat – this recipe works for them all!

  Air fryer breakfast sausage has quickly become one of my favorite favorite air fryer breakfast recipes. Who doesn’t love a deliciously browned sausage to go with those sunny side up eggs and toast!

  This air fryer breakfast recipe works with breakfast sausage links and patties, turkey sausage and even fresh, frozen and fully cooked varieties.

  Making your breakfast sausage in the air fryer is a quick and easy way to cook the perfect juicy breakfast sausage links and patties that are juicy on the inside and brown and crispy on the outside!

  Breakfast sausage is the perfect breakfast accompaniment to go with eggs, toast, pancakes, French toast – you name it!

  Cleaning up your air fryer is a breeze! No more greasy oven or spattered pans to worry about.

  Breakfast Sausage Links or Patties: This air fryer breakfast sausage recipe works for most any brand of breakfast sausage links and patties including Jimmy Sean and Johnsonville.

  Air Fryer Safe Cooking Spray: Optional

  Optional: Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Cooking spray helps the breakfast sausage from sticking to each other if you are cooking a larger batch.

  Preheat air fryer to 400°F.

  Place frozen breakfast sausage in fryer basket. Do not overfill basket. One even layer is recommended.

  Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Cook on 400°F for 10-12 minutes. Flip half-way.

  Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Cook on 400°F for 8-10 minutes. Flip half-way.

  Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Cook on 400°F for 5-6 minutes. Flip half-way.

  Additional Cook Time (as necessary): Depending on your air fryer, the size of your fryer basket and amount of breakfast sausage in the basket, you can shake the basket and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until you reach your desired level of doneness as needed.

  Be sure to follow FDA guidelines to cook your food to safe temperature.

  Pre-Heating Air Fryer: I recommend pre-heating air fryer. However, if you choose not to pre-heat, add about 3-4 minutes to your cook time.

  This recipe works well with any brand of air fryer including Ninja Foodi, Gourmia, Vortex, Nuwave, Cuisinart, Cosori, Power XL and Power Air.

  Preheat air fryer to 400°F.

  Cook fully cooked Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, turkey breakfast sausage and breakfast patties on 400°F for 5-6 minutes. Flip half-way.
