Air Fryer Roasted Chestnuts


  I have a larger KitchenAid toaster oven/air fryer, and made some adjustments for it's size and power.Instead of resting them in the hot water, I boiled the chestnuts continuously for about 5 minutes, also cutting them beforehand.I put them in the basket with no pan underneath, or water, on the top rack for 5 minutes at 385°. Then shaking them around first, I lowered them to the bottom rack for another 5 minutes at 350°.Once done, put them in a large linen towel to let them rest and "steam" a few minutes. They came out golden brown, super easy to peel, moist and toasted.Delicious! Thanks!-Jarrett
